John & Kate Plus Eight

Have you seen this show on TLC? My husband and I stumbled across it on TV Monday night. "John and Kate Plus Eight" comes on at 9 p.m. on TLC.

The intro to the show explains, John and Kate started off their family with twin girls. They wanted to have one more child and decided to get pregnant again – only this time it was sextuplets!!!! They got pregnant by intra-uteran insemination (IUI).

Even if you can't sit down to watch the whole show, you need to catch the intro. They show a few pictures of the mom's belly throughout the pregnancy, and you will not believe how big she is at the end!!! (And now she looks like a size 8!)

I'm not sure how the long the show has been on, I would guess since she was pregnant, and now it looks like the sextuplets are about 3 years old, and the twin girls are in first grade.

One episode we caught showed the whole family going on vacation to Utah. They brought two extra adults with them to have some help. Their plane got diverted due to bad weather, so they were stuck on the plane for quite a few extra hours with the eight kids.

The toddlers are potty trained now, and you should see how long bathroom breaks take!

It's very entertaining watching all the children, but it's even better entertainment seeing if the mom and dad can get through the day without killing each other. You can imagine the stress level in the house is pretty high every day just trying to take care of all those kids.

Just wanted to share an interesting find on TV. Check it out if you have the time.

OMG the first time i saw this sow i fell in love with john, kate , the twins and the sextuplets iv benn watching the sow since this show came out it remindes me so mutch of ym cousins ryan and tian > they dont have as manyy kids but they remind me of john and kate< tina remindes me of kate because her hair and the way she cares for all of her kid's and how she quit her job to stay home < ryan remindes me of john cuz he is the one who hast to work all the time but he still has time for the kids exsept he isnt loosing hair lol sorry john< well they always wanted a girl but in stead there first chile was luke he is 10 he remindes me of cara sweet , jentle , quiet , smart , silly ect... then they had kyle he is 8 he remindes me or maddie loude,smart, rouph , silly ect....then they had Mathew he is 5 he remindes me of collin cute, silly , caring , likes animals , quiet . rouph ect..... after that tey rilly wanted a girl and so they tryed again and got what they wishes for a girl her name is shantel she was verry sick when she was born sh hade a 20% chance of living but thatnk god she did she is 2 she remind me of all the little girls there all so beautiful and special in there own way just like shantel ........ when i get older and when im married i want to be just like kate a proud mother of 8
